Cold start and idle

Searched and read all I could for a 'noobe'

I did find the exact problem that I am having on another thread but there was no reply....see link
Cold start, long cranking time '91 500sl

I am having this same cold start and rough idle problem with my 1990 500SL. It only lasts at start up and then for the next 30-60 seconds after start. Once the engine is warm it starts and runs fine. Cold start valve/relay is my best guess right now.
Appreciate any advice.
