Hey Everyone,
I have a friend of a friend who is trying to sell me (actually my dad) an SL500 Renntech model. He said that its had a complete Renntech 6.0 bore-out package, suspension upgrades, 18 inch wheels, 8k stereo system and AMG ground effects. I was wondering the durability of Renntech make overs, availability of parts, resale, and current value. He says it has less than 30k miles and showed me a picture, but we havent gone to see it yet. If anyone has dealt with a similar car, feedback would be much appreciated Thanks Jason M.

I have heard good things about them although I have only seen 1 here in Atlanta. I know that there are more, but I have only seen the one.
I would get the #'s off of the car and call Renntech and ask some questions about it. This way you will know if it is a real car or not.
