Hi there
I have a suggestion. Take a look at your IGNITION COIL. I have been suffering for two years with a situation where my 560sl 1988 died on me for no apparent reason, but started rigth away, lately it would not start until the car cooled down. I searched this an other forums and followed many a suggesstion to change just about everything in the ignition system, finally I decided to change (once more) the ignition control module. Then I read that one should change also the ignition coil when changing the ICM, as a bad ignition coil will affect the ICM.
I googled at "symptoms of a bad ignition coil" and found that the symptoms mirrored what was happening to my car. I replaced the ignition coil and all seems to be well now.
It sound like it is happening to your car as well.

I just replaced the ignition coil and no result.
Also, replaced the existing Fuel Distributor with a rebuilt one from CIS Flowtech and car would start run for a 30 sec and then stalls again.
The fuel pressure regulator is brand new too.

I just replaced the EZL with another used one from ebay and the car now will run without stalling.
But the next issue is still standing:
The engine would run only if the mixture is over enriched,in other words I adjusted the air plate to where there is no free play .
If I did leave the recommended gap of 1-3mm between the FD piston and plate the car would not start.
The EHA shows 10mA when measured at idle.
Any suggestions?What is causing this?

I did my best of checking for air leaks and found nothing. The whole upper rubber part of the engine is replaced except the intake gaskets and the 8 rubber donuts is left. What do u mean by low regulating pressure?
I have installed a brand new fuel pressure regulator and the upper and lower chamber pressure are just on the spot with 0.4 bar difference.
The car runs a lot better with the EHA unplugged with less bogging down when accelerating.
Here is the video of running about 50% Duty cycle:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YQ4RgL46dCk

Should I have it smoked for air leaks to confirm that?

Wow. I just read through all the posts. How frustrating. I recently viewed a YouTube video on injector replacement and it stressed replacing seals around injector body as air can leak into intake manifold causing a lean out mixture. Good luck!

I suggest you get a copy of
How to tune and modify Bosch Fuel Injection by Ben Watson, it is a great resouce and give you step by step "elimination" sequences.
I could also PDF parts of the K jet chapter if you wish - PM me with an email
