W124 OEM Upgrade Package- Advice Request

I was wondering if there is a set of wheels and tires offered from Mercedes in 2004-2005 line-up that bolt right up to a W124. Maybe I can buy a set from someone who just upgraded from the OEM package and possibly get a good deal. I don't want to buy a set of rims and have to go and buy the tires afterwards, because the tire size is not compatible with the W124. I have intentions of buying something special but I need something for the meantime. Will any of these options I have listed below fit a W124 coupe? Are there any other options I missed?

Option 1
Front
225 45 ZR17 7.5J x 17 ET36
Rear
245 40 ZR17 8.5J x 17 ET34

2004 C230 Sport 5 spoke

Option 2
Front
225 40 ZR18 7.5J x 18 ET37
Rear
245 35 ZR18 8.5J x 18 ET34

2004 C55 AMG Polished Double Spoke

Option 3
Front
225 40 ZR18 7.5J x 18 ET37
Rear
245 35 ZR18 8.5J x 18 ET30

2004 SLK 55 AMG Multi Spoke

Option 4
Front
225 45 ZR17 7.5J x 17 ET37
Rear
245 40 ZR17 8.5J x 17 ET34

2004 C230 7 spoke Evo

You need to post the offset of the wheels, before anyone can determine if they'll fit.

I just updated the post with the offsets.

Also, I have found out that the 15-hole wheel of the W124 is a 15" x 6.5" and ET48.

The AMG monoblock for the W124 is:
Front
7.5J x 17 ET42
Rear
8.5J x 17 ET30 *Requires spring travel limiter and rolling the fenders

Me Too

I just got a set of the staggered c230 tires and wheels that you showed in the first pick and put them on my 93 400e. The cornering is awesome, and I didn't notice them rubbing until I got really aggressive. But I've noticed it a little more now, and I don't want to damage the tires or my car. Did you ever find a way to eliminate the rubbing with this set of tires? I think all my rubbing is in the back.

Thanks

I am more of a stock rims type person. I have just two thoughts relative to
plus sizing on the 124. First the handling issue.

I have two factory Sportline W124's with the 7 x 15 8 hole standard rims. These cars originally had Z rated 205 x 60 x 15 tires. Now I am running
V's in the same size. Handling is a perfect, my opinion, compromise between
smoothness and handling. The suspension is tuned to fit this tire size. So if you have the sportline suspension or the aftermarket equivalent and put the
low profile tires on it, you are in for a very harsh ride.

Secondly, appearance. Those wheels look great, but remember the 124 wasn't designed for these see the caliper wheels. That rusty casting will be
rearing it's ugly little head everytime you look at the wheel.

My 2 cents,

Steve

Smile rolled the fenders

By the way I rolled the rear fenders with my w124 and c230 wheels, and I've only heard it rub once (in about two weeks) on an aggressive turn going over a bump. Not anything major. I would say they are a great success now. I'll try to take pics. But they make my 400e perform comparably to my new 500e (not as well of course, but comparably). I notice it especially in handling and take off. The big rubber makes a huge difference on that car. If you can get a pair of those new wheels for a good deal, do it. Just bolt them on and roll the rear fenders and you should be set.

The 7.5 fronts will fit all round. The 8.5 rears will be a problem. If you can find someone to sell two pairs of fronts you'll be in business.

W211 E-class uses 14mm diameter wheel bolts.

W124 uses 12mm diameter wheel bolts.
