Is this a bolt on process? I plan to use MB 7 hole rims. Also must any changes be made to suspension? It's a diesel so speed is not my issue.

Do you mean the 8 hole wheels that were OEM on the 92-95 W124's? I'm not sure of offset offhand, but you will want to keep the rolling radius the same as stock. If you keep a correct offset and keep the same rolling radius you will not have to tinker with the suspension. You may want to give the folks at Tirerack a call for further specifics.
