Will the factory 16 by 7.5 5 holes from the 97 eclass v8 models fit on a 124 with 205/55/16 tires?

Last year I put 16 X 7.5 ET 41 Mercedes 5 hole wheels on my 1995 E420 to replace the 15" wheels. The 16" wheels came off of a 1999 E430 and are Mercedes part # B6 647 0093.

I have 205/55/16 tires, everything works fine and they look great. The original lug bolts from the 1995 were the same as used on the 16" wheels so they worked as is.

If you do a search you will find a lot of discussion on this forum about wheels and tire sizes for the 124.

Yal,

Where did you get your rims from??? I believe we have the same rims, but I have an ET 35 in a 16 X 7.5 I think the ET 41's are a perfect fit, as my wheels sit right at the edge of the wells.

Agron,
I got them from Precision. They had the wheel in what they call high offset and low offset. My rear wheel tucks in nicely. The front wheel is right on the fender edge. I want make absolutely sure I have ET41 so i'll double check for you this weekend.
