2.3's Springs Vs. 2.6's Springs

Hey:

I am trying to find out if it is dumb or real dumb idea to use a set of H&R springs for the 2.3 on my 2.6.

Autowerksdirect sent me the springs for the 2.3. So I am trying to find if the missed a step/are right in sending me these/or are trying to rip me off.

The 2.3 springs will not hold the weight of the 2.6 engine.
