"D" Pillar Fascia Replacement on ML320
I sent similar email to Lee -- then remembered my password ... sorry for the duplication ...
The shiny black plastic (looks like plexiglass or Lexan) fascia that covers the "D" pillar on the driver's rear side is cracked .. all the way across in about the middle. A horizontal crack. I can't figure hour to remove the cracked piece to install the new one. Can you give me some help/instructions on how to remove the D pillar fascia .. just for additional info .. these are the black plastic pieces on either side of the lift back door. Thanks -- carlos |

This is a known problem. Since your ML has only 35k miles it should be covered under warranty.
