My dad wants to know where is the fuse box for the engine. He states that when he places the keys in the ignition it will turn over and the lights will come on but it won't get any fire. He wants to check the fuses. Can someone help? He has a 1987 SEL 420

When you turn the key to on position does a hissing sound eminate from the rear passenger side wheel well?
Should last about 3 seconds...

Fuse box is right next to the Power brake booster. There is a metal latch towards the front of the black box. Undo-ing the latch opens up the lid. On the inside of the lid should be a piece of paper which lists the fuses and what they are responsible for.

As was pointed out... You should listen for the fuel pump running.

Check the coil wire....it originates near the fender and runs along the P/S pump. Sometimes the P/S fluid can break down the insulation on the wire and give you trouble.
