Is the star your guide?

I started noticing after a while that if I keep the edge of the road visible inside the star's circle, I'm pretty much over to the right as far as I should be. Its a handy reference when going down skinny roads. At least it works on a W126, but I curious if other owners noticed this.

Yip, in drivers ed we used the Oldsmobile Rocket as the guide and that was taught by the instructors.

I figured it was dependent on hood length, seat position, etc. But I'm trying to go back and I think this is the first car I've owned with a hood ornament. I'm movin on up!

I use mine to park the car. It's handy as hell. When the one on my 95 got ripped out by some punk as kids, I found it difficult to park my car exactly the way I did before that happened.

I use mine as a gunsight for the hidden 20 mm cannons.

After all, I live in So. California, home fo the "freeway shootings."
