ANY MAN when admitting they did something wrong, FACES the camera, looks you in the eye and says it. So you believe him.
This guy is such a BS artist!
He's pathetic. A 1st class embarresment!
Go the F home to Texas.

Hi Austin85,

Maybe he was ignoring the camera and making eye-contact with the people in the room... I can see no other reason for looking around. It was not evasion.
I believe that your idol would have been praised for doing the same thing

There was also more than one camera in the room, so everyone that watched on television may have had differing viewpoints and may or may not agree with you.

Of course, If you were in the room with him, you might have had a better impression.
Then again, your mind may already be made-up.

Hi Busy,

If the Mayor and the governor were Repubs, Bush would have to defend them from the united fangs and claws of the liberal media.
Actually, I did hear one female reporter taking "Rebel Blanko" to task for her handling of the
emergency.
Honestly... if they were Condoleeza and Cheney, the media would show no mercy.
It's their job, when they are exposing the right.

Thats the way it is..

That's like saying more people take Papa Smurf seriously than Bugs Bunny. When you are a caricature, you are bound to get laughed at.

This is not a party thing. The guy F..'d up and he is admitting it....
If we're lucky, when this all boils down, he will be impeached.

He's taking responsibility for 100's of people dying when they shouldn't have.

Funny how the quys tune out reality and focus on what theywant to hear....then point fingers and accuse the Republicans of cheating and election stealing.

Gore did it in 2000

and most of the Dems did it in 2004 (except surprisingly Kerry who shocked me in his maturity at that point)

or they blame me for speaking what is obvious to anyone else...

Just goes to show you that Bush has far greater integrity than the LA Governor or that Mayor of New Orleans who still won't admit they did wrong as obvious as it is.

And again its the left that proves my point through their own actions.

Very interesting info. Should be a civics lesson to those who do not understand how "States Rights" really work in a situation like this. I think most do not realize that the Federal Gov. cannot operate in any state until that state has given permission. One could argue that the Feds should have in this case where everybody would have liked them to, but what about a situation where we would not? Can't have it both ways which was why it is the responsibility of those in charge of the state(Governor) to initiate any Fed participation. I voted for Jindal, he would have been all over this!! Blanco made it a point to identify him as a "person of color" the very night she found out she would face him in a run-off. I have despised her since, her being a member of the "party of inclusion" and all that blab. Now she is in a "delicate" situation. The very parish which put her "over the top" in the Gov's race has been exported to Texas and other parts. Would have thought by that fact alone, they would have topped her priority list in this event. Even Jesse J. is complaining about how the people of NO have gone off to other states to probably never return. He see's what it means. If the Gov's race was run tomorrow, LA would have a Republican leader for the first time in a long time. I think there will be no re-election for her 2nd term now. Nagin is probably "finished" too!!! Good riddance to both!! Now maybe the "poor" in my state have a real chance for a "better life"!!
