Burned high-sulfur fuel puts sulphur oxides into teh atmosphere. Sulphur oxides, in teh rpesence of water, turn into various acids of sulphur oxides, all of which burn like crazy, some crazier than others.

So, the wacko environmentalists (like me) think that the lesser of two weevils is to forgo the technology and have less sulphuric acid in our lungs.

Can someone explain to me why a fuel (diesel) that takes less energy to refine should cost a buck more a gallon than regular fuel. That ought to be a crime.
