Winter Olympics

What's your favorite event? Of course mine is XC skiing and biathlon, been watching quite a bit of curling too. Imagine that, curling!

Minnesota has 36 athletes in the games this year. Gotta support our local boys and gals!

Slalom- & mogul skiing, half-pipe snowboarding.
Seems the American boys are collecting most of the medals.
Figure skating is nice to watch aswell.
And of course that breathtaking curling...

Actually prefer the Winter Games over the Summer Games: Winter Games still has this sort of 'cosy' character, compared to the huge & massive size of the Summer event.

The Winter Games are the best opportunity for caucasians to medal in their event.

Perhaps a test of strength such as the post event arm-pit-odor competition…

Perhaps a test of lung strength in a cold environment by holding the ice water bong competition…

I love the Olympics, but since I don't get cable I have very little opportunity to watch them. This past Sunday I tuned in to NBC to check out whatever events they had on and they were running an infomercial!! I couldn't believe it.

I happen to live out in the country where cable isn't available, but it seems you're pretty much SOL if you're poor and want to watch the Olympics.

Just thought I would add my 2 cents about this.

Couldn't agree more. The people in the mountains are few and friendly and the snow is an unmatchable decore.

Man hockey stinks. Take the NHL, shuffle the players around and make them put on different colored jerseys, go play.

Even playoff hockey is below the level of olympic and world cup play. Its the best by far (especially{sp?} if your a Pens fan this year)

But all I've heard about this year has been 'The Great One's' secret gambling ring questions.

But at least they actually play hockey, instead of doing their best WWF impressions.
