Of course not. The only reason Easterners put slaw on their sandwich is they have trouble with a fork.

Now where are those beans? I'm making chili tonight.

You forgot: 'on white bread'!

We need some contributions from the civil 'coleslaw' war Carolinians before this thread really gets kicked off though. Does anyone have a lousey pinko BBQ sauce comment for me?

What ?!? As in - On it ?!?

Yuck -
Maybe on the side with some tadder-salid. But on it ?? No way.

Remember the movie City Slickers? The icecream guys? And how the one could name the perfect ice cream to follow any meal?
So - What beer goes best with that furrow-o-meat ??

ICE COLD: Shiner Bock or a Rahr & Sons Blonde Lager for me.

Slaw on the sandwich. Can't walk around the state fair with slaw in one hand and sandwich in the other. How're you gonna eat it?

Depends on the slaw. If it's that watery stuff, it should stay on the side to avoid mushing the bread. Otherwise, it's just another condiment.

It definitely belongs there, but it has to be shredded - not that fine chopped up stuff.
