I'm off to the in-laws house again today. I've repaired every crack and nail pop in their walls and ceilings. All the crown molding and chair rail is done and all the nail holes are filled plus I finished repairing their kitchen window which had a horrible leak that caused the framing of the house in the lower corner to rot away. I had to pull the 6' x 7' window and re-frame the opening. Now I'm on to priming, painting and caulking.

Have a great Friday and weekend everybody.

Boy, Chad, your in-laws did alright for themselves. I hope my daughters marry as well as theirs did.

Do they have any rust problems on their car(s)?

Man, I wish you were closer. There's enough here to keep you busy.

Tonight the wife and I are going to "Octoberfest in August Nite" at our local AA Minor League game (Twins affiliate). Copious amounts of good German beer and food will be served and there will be no nagging, complaining kids along with us.

And, THE DUMPSTER HAS LANDED! I had a 22yd. dumpster dropped off this morning so a good part of the long weekend will be spent relaiming my garage, shed and outbuilding. I don't know if it's or but I'm looking forward to actually using those for their intended purposes again. It's supposed to get near 90's so I'll try to balance it with some final pool time. I've got it for a week and it's only an extra $5/day if I need it longer.

This looks like it'll be a chore-filled weekend for me. Swamp, you inspired me with all of your garage cleaning. I'm going to attempt that this weekend I think. I'd like to get the Dee8gonator and max IN the garage and out of the weather this winter.

Saturday is the begining of the Regional Poker season. Alas - some long nights in cigar smoke, booze and fast women. Just maybe I will play a little better this year!

I am glad it's Friday, my head is bleeding. I'm going to start working on my Halloween costume because I can't fly tomorrow- stupid rain.

Woo hoo! I've got plenty of work ahead of me but I'm glad the work work will be done. Although they're forecasting 3-6" of rain from Hanna coming our way for tomorrow so I've got to get up on the roof today to find out where I have a pesky leak that only appears when it rains heavily (I'm hoping it's just backing up against the shingles in a flatter spot-I recaulked everything around the chimney so it's not there). The wife just got done painting the room and the repaired ceiling so I don't need to piss her off!

I kept the dumpster for an additional week since this weekend is supposed to be at least a partial rain-out. That gives me some extra time to clean out the storage areas in the house. With it pouring it'll be a good time to sit with a garbage bag and go through the stuff we haven't touched in 10 years.

We've got our kids' Back to School picnic at school tonight so we'll probably go pick up some Subway subs and go catch the band and magic show. That'll kill a couple hours and give them a good outlet for their excess energy since I'm sure cabin fever will set in. Hopefully we can keep the mosquitos from carrying them away.

I'm kinda bummed since S#1 was supposed to have his first two fall league games this weekend .

I went to the camera shop, only one in the whole county, bought some B&W film ( 2 rolls at $5 a roll), a lens cap, an original Spotmatic camera case and a battery for the light meter, total spend $30... frign sweet. I really didn't need the case but, eh why not.

I'm starting on my calculus right now, then onto some chemistry to read up on and I might eat lunch sometime today, who knows.

I have the entire weekend off and nothing planned other than to study. Im bringing my friends wife to the airport tomorrow in the afternoon and I think one of my fellow Delorean Club of Florida members might come over and we'll tackle the roof box on my car, it needs to be screwed down since the epoxy has weakened over the years.

Well, it's not looking too fine for you folks down in Texas and Louisiana today. I hope that you weather this storm safely and with minimal damage. The rest of us will be thinking about you and hoping for the best.
I'll be heading back down to NC to celebrate my little sister's birthday with her and begin cleaning out our mother's house so we can sell that. Just getting the hell out of Dodge for the weekend will be nice.
I hope everybody else has a great (and a safe) weekend.
