I hope Anastasia is going to be all right, Mistress. Try not to worry too much.

I have successfully re-hired my old accountant who stopped taking new clients several years ago. I feel a tremendous load off my shoulders. On top of that I closed a couple of decent sales this morning. Things are looking pretty good right now.

Good luck with your old friend Mistress.

I'm enjoying my new family room furniture that I spent 6 hours assembling yesterday. An 8 piece sectional couch, 2 end tables and 2 coffee tables.

I also assembled my new firewood rack for the back porch and got my 35 lbs. of fatwood. Woo Hoo!!!!

Have a good weekend everybody.

Ditto on the Tzarina, Mistress. I almost hate to admit it, but I miss having a cat. There, I said it.

I had forgotten about a Halloween party tonight. Wife asked the girls this am about this afternoon (which is traditionally "date night!") and I replied date night yay! and they replied halloween party!. So I'm getting geared up to dress up--then do it again next week 2X. Oh joy.

(did I mention I have a gaping wound of an old business relationship (read b/t the lines) with the host and hostess?)

I had to try extremely hard not to write anything that brought up the obvious sexual innuendo...but I hope your cat feels better!

I'm on the hunt for a pet to adopt before the end of the year...my animal-averse wife is succumbing to the unconditional love that a house pet can lavish (especially when the now-teen daughter is anything but loving these days ).

She wants a small house dog...I've grown up with small house dogs (and cats), so I want a big a$$ed dog that can dent car door panels with his head!

I'm being vetoed, though...

So get a small house dog - you know, a cute little Great Pyrenees puppy - that qualifies as a small house dog, for now anyway......

Get a Great Dane.... Hyper for like 6 months, then sleeps all day. My pup is 7 now, and she sleeps 18 - 20 hours a day, and runs around for 4 hours.

Not to mention she will scare the bejeezus out of anyone who comes to my house without permission, and has unconditional love for my family. Shes a great protector.

Mistress, I hope your little friend is doing better.

Me this weekend, I got a lot of different things to deal with. There has been alot of negative vibes in my family recently.

My uncle has cancer, and has had an uphill battle with it for the past year.

My sisters fiancee had one of his lungs collapse from pneumonia. He was hospitalized on Weds. and they drained his lungs. His other lung was also in danger of collapse.

My dads best friends wife went terminal a month and a week ago and was given a month to live. She died a week ago. She had a tumor in her brain, in an inoperable area of her brain.

My dad is dealing with alot of stuff happening at work, so he has been in a sour mood recently. His department has been out of compliance, and no one but him and his department chair have admitted it.

It is a fine Friday! I have for the first time in I forget how long Saturday off! WOOO!

I'm going to sleep late to 8, my buddy is picking up his new M14 as well. So well probably grab some lunch and bring the M4 and M14 up to the range to fire off a few rounds. Maybe the S&W .45 as well. Than comes my uncles yearly massive halloween bash, with enough booze to drown you!

So far this Friday is very fine. I woke up on the right side of the grass, my younger daughter, who has not spoken to me in a week, was actually civil to me and pleasant this morning, and the future looks suddenly much brighter than it did yesterday.

The daughter been exibiting some of those "Hell spawn" characteristics, Dee?

I'm going over to some friends for Halloween tonight. Not dressing up but we may walk up the road and visit some of the neighbors for some 'za and candy.

Tomorrow, I have a big truck show in Greensboro. Should be a perfect day for it. I'm looking forward to relaxing all day. The GF is in NJ with her Niece/Nephew so I'm batching it. Woo hoo!
