But of course! I've got the black silk red chili pepper tie for the black or grey sportcoat and the blue multi-chili tie for the blue one. I've got a sunflower one with a red background for those "power" situations, too. I'm always looking for flower or veggie related ties when I'm out and about.

Has the excitement from receiving your shipment of goodies been replaced by the sudden reality that you now have to install all of that stuff?

I'm trying to keep my spirits up and not think about the work it will be.

Here's a good site for fruit, veggie and flower ties:

We're going to restage a few pics once we pick up a new non-Sony camera. Maybe this weekend.

I just dropped $300 on a suit a few hours ago...and I'm taking pictures at my sister's 7th (as in #7 kid out of 12! ) kidlette's wedding later today...

I just wished I could look a quarter as good as SwampYankee does with his daughter... ( And I wish I was half as tall as she is, too! )

I'm taking "Fausta" over for the wedding...my sister has this thing about a "pot-luck" spread when her kids get married...I'm bringing a "kid-friendly" set of crock-pot goodies...Angus-Beef meatballs and real Angus-Beef little wieners/smokies steeped in my "secret" spaghetti sauce...I left my usual amount of garlic out of the recipe, out of respect to the kids and parents that don't like that particular "flavor" in their meals...I might bring a small shaker of garlic powder just to spice mine up though...

But, two crock-pots full of meat and sauce won't ride properly in the S-10, so I'll have to take it over in the MB...that whole interior is going to smell like an Italian restaurant for a week...too bad they don't make a "car-scent" like that...I could just die and go to heaven...I just love that kind of smell...I'm almost 99% German and I don't care for sauer-kraut, but I love Italian food and I don't have an Italian DNA cell in my soul...

Go figure...

I'll see if I can get some shots of the "classic" with the kids...a car almost twice as old as the kids themselves...

Hopefully, the rain doesn't rear its ugly self during/after the ceremonies...

I used to when I could. That's about the only thing I miss about my haired days, growing the beard/goatee.

Thanks, M.G. She picks up my slack. She's only 8 and quickly catching up with her mom on the yardstick.

Re: Germans and Italian food-My FIL is a 'dorf and married a 100% Sicilian. There must be something to that.

Well, another week older and I have to take on the roads again, this morning, and head to Eau Claire...I'll be checking NOAA about 0530, perform the 3 "S"s, then hitting the road and try to keep the S10 on it...hopefully, I'll be back before 1700 tonight...too many deer hangin' on edges to let me get too comfortable...

Hey folks, have a good Friday and remember...Drive carefully out there...nobody else does!

I get to spend most of the day with Lawyers. I am being deposed in a case where I am the expert witness.

I always look forward to that.

Beats the hell out of being the defendant!

I'm off to see customers to the South this morning and then on to visit my mother in North Carolina for the weekend. It's been a good week for me. I hope it's been good for you, too. Have a great weekend all! Mistress, enjoy that new SL. I know where you'll be this weekend.
