So, in your opinion, each person should use himself as the standard by which our leaders are to be measured? Unless someone can demonstrate superiority to our leaders, that person should keep quiet? I am a mere self-loathing Hollywood liberal (or some such nonsense, BENZ LGB can tell you which label to apply) and I could never dream of running the country, but I can see that W is in way over his head.

Aklim, good to see that your sense of humor is still intact...

Not like the pompous, self-appointed, arbiters of what is supposedly wrong with this country and its leaders...real easy to sit on the side and blather on about what is wrong with the country...not so easy to actually have to do something about it.

Reminds me of the recent remarks by that ass-wipe Kerry...according to him if he was president there would have been no problem with Hezbollah...he would have "destroyed them." The cojones-less candidate trying to talk tough. It was almost too funny.

The list may not be endless, but it is long. Here's one example: During his first term, Bush felt the need to establish publicly that he had a low personal opinion of Kim Jong Il. For some reason, Bush thinks that he has an ability to gauge people's souls and make meaningful judgements about them, like when he claimed to have judged Putin's soul by looking into his eyes. Bush said that he loathes Kim Jong Il and that the North Korean leader makes his skin crawl. Bush also called him a "pygmy", thereby establishing himself as having the maturity level of an 8th grader while simultaneously insulting an entire African race. After he did it, maybe Karl took him aside and explained the problem with his comments, but if he was qualified for his position, he wouldn't need Karl to explain that.

We could approach your question this way - name anything that W has done well, other than his initial efforts in Afghanistan.

That's funny stuff...he is such a perennial loser.

Kerry and Gore, both claim to have such a superior intellect. Man, it must just frosted them both to have lost elections to an intellectually "inferior" candidate.

Only a self-loathing, knee-jerk Bush-basher, Hollywood liberal could love the likes of Kerry, Hillary, Gore, et al.

What would be the point of this? God could point a monty-pythonesque finger down upon Bush and say "You the man!!". You'd still list page after page of your opinion that he isn't. Haven't you noticed, open discussion no longer counts towards post counts. Why rehash the same tired arguments?

And what of Kim jong il? He is a creepy little pygmy and evil to boot. What we could use are some more leaders pointing this and other obvious facts out without trying to be all intellectually politically correct and getting us worse than nowhere.

I know you're not talking to me anymore, but maybe you could make an exception here and name for us one example where either man said or did anything to support that accusation. I'm guessing that you will come up empty again.

It is easy on Mon morning to be quarterback, isn't it? I have met many mailroom clerks that could do a better job than the CEO but somehow, he is there and they are still in the mailroom. What should I think of that?

With regard to Kerry, all you have to do is listen to him pronounce Genghis Khan. Today's assertion that the current trouble in Lebenon wouldn't have happened if he'd been president is ample evidence to the contrary.

Seriously though, does anyone really believe that Kerry would have prevented this or destroyed Hezbullah? Come on now.... Be honest....

You and Benz LGB like to make those baseless accusations, don't you?

You mean why, other than that you asked the question? Did you really expect that there could be any answer to your question that did not include opinions? Like an actual measurement or something showing that W is in over his head? I think you are being unrealistic.

What do you and W have against pygmies? This is beyond bizarre.

What, exactly, do you think Bush has done to help the North Korea situation? That country is much more dangerous now than he was in January 2001.

I had noticed that my posts here were not adding to my total count.

Incidentally, wasn't it Jimmy Carter who, after a brief face to face meeting with Kimmy, declared him to be a trustworthy man, whose word could be trusted?

And wasn't it the same Jimmy who stood solidly behind Noriega and Castro, calling them both great men.

Oh yeah....the good old days of Jimmy sin-in-my-heart Carter.
