Somewhere in Italy, A prancing horse cries.

The letter read,

To my darling husband

Before you return from your overseas trip I just want to let you know

about the small accident I had with the pick up truck when I turned into

the driveway. Fortunately not to bad and I really didn't get hurt, so

please don't worry too much about me.

I was coming home from Wal-Mart, and when I turned into the driveway I

accidentally pushed down on the accelerator instead of the brake. The

garage door is slightly bent but the pick up fortunately came to a halt

when it bumped into your car.

I am really sorry but I know with your kind hearted personality you will

forgive me. You know how much I love you and care for you my sweet

heart.

I cannot wait to hold you in my arms again.

Your loving wife.

XXX

True story: A couple of years ago, I got my 280E Euro painted. Wife dropped me off at the paint shop and I drove the newly painted car home. I arrived before her and was in the driveway checking out the paint job and was pissed because they did a bad job. I crouched down and was checking out the front of the car when BAM! I fell back and there was the rear end of my wife's Honda Passport mated with the rear of my Merc! I went inside, opened a beer and sat by myself in a dark room for several hours. Got her to do some stuff that weekend that she had previously refused to do. At least I got something out of it!

That sucks! I wonder how you would get your insurance company to cover that.
Definately going in the photo album.
Thanks!

She might not appreciate the way you worded that, or maybe that's exactly what you meant

the real story is a drunk jumped a ditch into the garage, I have the whole picture spread somewhere on one of my HD's. It happened 3 years ago and it was rumored that it was my old car (it was not) if I get some time I will dig up the close ups.

it looks to me as if the ferrari would have had to run under the truck.

although the truck story is compelling.

Look at the ceiling of the garage, the rubble behind the tires of the Ferrari ect ect. that its easy to figure out how the truck got there.

The Italian scooter parked in the garage is the dead give away. I had the story archive and it was beatin to death on Ferrarichat.com.

ok on closer examination i see the kneewall above the door is gone and lying on the far right. also i see the marks on the ceiling.

i concede that you are probalby right.

but what does the italian scooter have to do with it?

Why do the nice cars always have to get taken out!

Reminds me of a story about a local. Said person left a Christmas party three sheets to the wind. Then proceded to take there Range Rover and rip the side off a 740IL and Lexus 330, before ending up embeded in the trunk of an E320, kind of in a front yard. Total distance? about 50ft.

Drunks, when will people ever learn. I guess that driver was lucky no one was around at the time. He could have came through a bedroom or something!
