That was that guy who was peeping out of the bushes on the bike trail on the way home that night. . . . You remember, don't you? Right before you took up jogging home from work . . .

Yup...choked on my coffee when I saw the reich neck tat and then close again for the back-face-prison-no no.

The reich neck could at least be covered with a shirt and necktie.

I have a relative who still has to contend with a slight bias in the corporate world regarding the two piercings in his left ear from years ago that never healed. They're small, but visible, and nothing like a tattoo.

It definitely depends on what you're planning and confident that you will be doing in the future to keep food on the table and a roof over your head.

Or, if in prison if you ever want to get any sleep.

Maybe that's his whole game?

You want to see some serious facial tattoo culture, see the film "Once Were Warriors." Shows a little known sub-culture of Maorian (sp) people living in urban New Zealand, drinking hard. The film had quite an effect on raising awareness among men there of the perils of alcohol and wife beating.

Not related to the movie but similar:

There is this nasty looking guy that comes in the store sometimes that has some sort of tattoo artwork around his eyes.... kinda like a mask..... strange.

Then there is a woman that comes in with one IN her EAR!

There were others, too, but the face ones struck me.

Call me an old codger, but in the realm of body art, isn't that a little severe?

I understand people will make their own choices, but if/when there are regrets about said tats, is the removal process really effective these days?

I jokingly thought to ask the one "Why does is say 'tramp', in Chinese on your face?"
Yeah, stupid, I know, but I kept it to myself.
I call it.... "I will never get a good paying job and will be classified as trash the rest om my life ticket."

90% of them will probably regret it.

I have no problem with tatoos. I don't have any though. If I did I would put them in places where I could "choose" to show them off. That seems to make more sense.

In other news. My aunt, 55 years old, got herself one of those back/a$$ tatoos a couple of months ago.

I've seen a guy around my city with a spider web across his entire face and head. There are also numerous other symbols and animals amongst the web. Funnily enough, he's always dressed in a suit.

Hey, Mike Tyson has a face tattoo, which serves as clear evidence that facial tattoos have made it into the social mainstream.
