Need help on repairing small spots of peeled paint
Allright, almost time to sell the escort. So far, I've got around $250 into it, including everything... Needs another $200 to be in darn nice shape, needs like $100 to be a good driver. Needs two tires, and an allignment... Should really get a new axle, and e-brake cables. No big deal on either of thoose two. Leave it in gear and it doesnt move, and the axle's only an issue above 60 (wheel vibrations)
There's a dent in the back, it's been there a while, but where the paint's peeled away it's starting to get some really light surface rust... I'd like to take care of that. Also, around the rear wheel wells, some of the paint's peeled away, and theres some surface rust going on... NOT RUST THROUGH, just really light surface rust... How do you fix that? There's no real rust, but it's a metallic green which I've HEARD is tough to match... I'm gonna pull the dent in the back also, so tips on that would be appreciated. Meta'ls bent in about 2", no crinkles, just like somebody backed into a pole once, and only replaced the bumper... Thanks alot everybody, I really appreciate it ~Nate
