Eh, like I said.. I'd love to blow up, slash, and set fire to their cars.. but unfortunately I don't want to do anything even more illegal than they're doing.

Worst I may do, is yank the pins from the tire, and give them four "repairable" flats. No real damage, but a huge inconvienence. Even that is pushing it, though.

Tempting as those handicapped spaces are, their intended users have REAL mobility issues, are honestly crippled, missing a limb, wounded veterans, or
have to use walkers, chairs, or canes, and often are in constant pain, and REALLY need them.

There needed to be a real legislative push to get them in the first place. Enforcement of this rule is just fine with me.

When I was on the Coop board, we made up some "NO PARKING" stickers. Commerically made with the finest peel and stick glue available. Approximately 8" x 11". Slap one or two of those babies on the windshield and there is NFW they are coming off without a heavy dollop of acetone and a razor blade.

After a few of those incidents, even the thickest among them will get the message..........

..........it's cheap........and it works fantastic..........without any permanent damage..........and..........they do get the message..........unlike a random act of vandalism...........where they are clueless as to the cause.

I am permanently handicapped but most days are good days and do not use the spaces. What really urks me is when having a bad day and finding the spots filled with non placard or plates vehicles filling those spaces. Guess what usually fills those spaces? BMW's, JAG's, Lexuses and yes us to.

FANTASTIC idea, for private property at least.

Big pink ones on the driver's side of the windshield. This is exactly how the SFPD and Oakland PD in California tags cars that appear abandoned, and by law need to be moved in 72 hours, and not just a few inches either. Plus, with a chalk/crayon mark beginning on a tire and continuing onto the pavement, the odometer reading on them. It ALWAYS works. It has to, in order to avoid making a desparate situation even worse. I believe they get about 100 abandoned cars a week off San Francisco streets this way.
