He got smart real fast. He's just lucky he didn't get his ass kicked, although he was totally right if I recall correctly. Oh well.

I like going online and browsing virtual inventories from the comfort of my home, but I also like walking into a place of business and touching, reading and listening to the merchandise. It's a shame that we can't have it both ways, but if I had to choose, I'd pick the walk-in experience.

I haven't done any online music shopping so far, in this lifetime. I have CD's more than I can count and still I have a remainder of vinyls.
What seems to be an advantage, is the fact that you buy single songs. I bought many albums in my life just because of 1 or 2 songs that I really had to have ... than again, original album releases sustain the test of time pretty well, meaning after years of owning a certain album, my taste or reception changed and I got to recognize the quality of other recordings on the same album.

I don't buy music, I download for free. I figure that all musicians are overpaid druggies and don't deserve my money and besides, they should make music just for the love of it.
Same with farmers, greedy bastards. They grow food just to make money, greedy bastards. And oil companies. Same deal. The only honest people are from the government because they're just here to help you and have no hidden agendas of their own. B |

The music industry really messed up when they created CD's. They're the ones who made this whole pirating thing possible. Should have sticked with vinyl.

Did pirating or online stores like Amazon.com put folks like Tower out of business?
