I don't know about the vega, but the corvair was called a yenko stinger. There is a father and son in central indiana who show up with yenko stingers at the scca autocrosses. One of them has a buick blower and one has a huge turbocharger. One also is a shortened early body with no roof too. The older fellow was pretty friendly at the last autocross...he liked my 280e I think....cause it was almost as unlikely as his corvair....but not nearly as fast.

Tonight, is Long wharf New Haven's fireworks. You goin back out on the water for it also..? I'll be around somewhere, probably over at, or near Ikea, if not, I'll be somewhere by the water's edge, on the Northbound side of the highway, where those hot-dog trucks always are. Look for me, with the SEC, around there though. Since it's still new to me, it is sort of a novelty right now, and I drive it everywhere. Probably going to drive the crap out of it this summer, until I have to park it for the winter, so eventually you'll likely see me, or it somewhere around. I haven't even looked at my motorcycles since I rode up from Florida on the 22nd/23rd. See you, at some point I'm sure though.

We anchored several miles off shore and watched from a distance. Both Stratfords and West Havens were going off so it was a good show. I was out Monday night as well and saw a ton. If the weather is decent tonight I may go out, but its looking real iffy.

I'll look for your car around town. If you are ever going down Old Gate Lane off exit 40 you will probably see my SDL parked outside the Re/Max office.

Just curious, why is that fake wide body SEC sitting so high, and what the hell are those little extra flares on the fenders..? It looks wrong, like a kit car...Not to offend anyone, specifically the owner, but it looks like a baja racer, or something along those lines...So who's up for some trail rides, in that SEC car..? It looks four wheel drive...It should be sitting a good three inches lower atleast, to look correct.

I think I'm gonna let people sweat on that one a little while longer, due to all the ball busting so many of you guys in the forum have dished out so far. I mean, just to be a dick, I'm going to let that one go for a while..Since so many have been so rude, and obnoxious about the car, and related items...Lambo will be posted here. In fact I've already sent some private pics to some other members here. A select few, who are sworn to secrecy....lol.

No public pics of the car yet though. Some of the privately distributed pics so far, have me, in the car, or doing whatever. There's a nice pic, that my fiance took, back when she was with us, of me, standing next to the car, on the rt.40 connector in Hamden,Ct. talking on the phone with a repair shop, while the car is being loaded onto a flatbed, in the foreground. Seriously

the Monoblocks are probably the cause .. needs lowering springs...

I've been thinking of getting a 560SEC.. I checked the insurance on one for me and it came out to be 150$ a month...
