Beautiful day outside nice walk to work and today I'm installing a new printer...pray for me......

Loverly clear and crisp (27*) topless ride to work this morning. Seemed a fitting follow on to my first lawn mowing at the "new" old house (first time I've used a lawn tractor, first time I've mowed will snow was falling, first time our new lawn tractor was used).

Usual fun and games at work, then off to the Cottage for Ma and Ed tonight to continue the modified crown molding installation. We pulled the drop ceiling and original plaster ceiling from the entire downstairs, leaving an unfinished 3"-6" mess at the top of the wall plaster. Crown molding would look silly (no ceiling) so we've modified a chair rail kind of look and will use that to dress out the edge. Picked up a brad/nail gun and portable compressor to drive it, so tonight it'll power tool time!!!

The Mrs. and I spent the morning with a Trust lawyer trying to get a Special Needs Trust set up for my little guy with Ds. Once that's in place we can move on to the rest of the financial planning. He gave us a bunch of options to mull over and my head is spinning. Essentially the kid can't have over $2000 is assets or he would be disqualified for many state and federal programs. By setting up the Trust we can get around that, with all intents and purposes, an infinite amount of money. Our goal is for him to be self-sufficient and never have to count on state or federal aid but are preparing for the worst case scenario and want to be sure he's covered no matter what. Big fun. Boy does my head hurt.

It snowed yesterday AND today, I had a midterm, had to pay $308 tuition(leaving $16 in my account)

Still haven't gotten the benz back on the road, the KZ is still torn down.

Just found out that our department lost half of its funding.:behead: Have been promoted three times in four years. So little time in class for bumping rights.

It's still raining.......i am hoping one day it will stop......hope everyone has a good day today.

I've got to go pay for my summer classes... $700 for three classes, not bad.. But thats still $700....

Registered for Online Photography, and its an online class. I neeed it to graduate on time.

Just humping away, and not the fun way. It finally got back into the 60's and sunny so all of the lawn nuts are coming out of the woodwork.

My 6yo (with Ds) has his first Challenger League baseball practice tonight and I'm looking forward to getting him out there and running around. Of course he's in the early stages of the latest sinus infection :( (recurring problem for him b/c of smaller sinus and nasal cavities) so I'll be sure to bring a pocket full of tissues.:sick3:

Trying to find a not-insane plumber for The Cottage for Ma and Ed (original contractor died. Carleton flaked. Replacement contractor had one lined up who flaked. Second plumber pulled in by contractor is insane ($4,500 to punch water up/drains down from existing bathroom into room directly above, through a floor already cleared (i.e. plaster gone below, carpet gone above - no finish work, no fixtures, JUST running the pipes).

I'd be all over figuring out how to do it myself if I had time - but we're plumb outta that. Supposed to be moving Ma & Ed in weekend after next.

So every night this week is finishing up electric, adding washer plumbing to the now enclosed porch, etc. etc. etc. Had some help this past weekend from good crazy friends:

I know. I was just joking. I have a friend who's in the X Ray business. He has his own company. I was *****ing about MY boss to him one day and he commented to me that HIS boss was an *********, too.:D
