A good day for me...made up with the wife (now back from her visit). She saw the dent she put in the 07 ML for the first time while it sat in the body shop. We all joked about it, since there was an 07 Escalade also residing at the body shop. Owner's wife creamed the entire rear backing into the garage!

Getting ready to apply the first glaze coat on the media room walls. Base coat looks good as do the other paint finishes on the other walls. Overall, a cool execution, despite the odd color scheme.

doesn't it depends on what you are doing with "it?"

I would have thought that vertical, or at least perpendicular to the "other plane" would also be good.

Exciting stuff like ordering next year's estimated supply of peas, beans, corn and small vegetable seeds.

Funny you should ask. I just had this exchange over the VHF with DJ:

Looking good, Louis!!
Feeling good, Billy Ray!!

Nice day here. Only 93 for a high.
Have to run to the Honda shop for a set of brake pads for the Odyssey.
Have to figure out the TCS and ABS light issue on it.
Will finish prepping the family room for the new laminate floors that go down tomorrow.
With all the furniture and carpet out, it’s looking like a good time for fresh paint too.
Have to start packing and prepping for a boat shoot (photos) down in Houston next week.
DJ has three students today, so she’s up pulling Gs all day, as usual.

Or - I may just say screw it all for today, and take the kids wakeboarding. Grapevine is at +20’, I hear. May just have to go check it out.

Happy Hump Day to you too !!

But - Why would they call it “hump day”, when most folks get laid on the weekend?

(I know....that’s an old one....)

I'm hanging out at a photography studio for a photo shoot for a new product line.

As I'm surfing the forum, I'm watching the food stylist do her thing with the layout, while the graphic designer is laying out the products for the "beauty shot" for the sell sheets.

Reprise: The good stuff continues...

The component that I patiently waited for the price to drop was red-tagged yesterday at about $150 down from the usual price (demo unit, but doesn't see much use). Today, they dropped it another $22! As I strolled by another display with my new procured treasure in my cart, I found a 5.1 mp digital camera for $30! A demo of course, but the same brand that I got my daughter for Christmas (at $129 back then). She has since dropped it enough that it no longer works. So now she has a replacement camera that is even better than the one the originally had!

My day is going great except for a little truck snafu i had with a customer this morning. i went over to the customer to supervise the driver and the loading, the driver felt like it was too much material on his truck.

Anyhow, I am feeling WAY better since I started Cymbalta a little over a month ago, and I'm looking more fabulous every day since i finally broke the 200 lb barrier this morning. I'm now 199 lbs. and i plan to go to at least 185 before i start maintaining. From a high weight of 350 lbs two years ago, it's amazing to me.

Congrats, man, that is amazing! That's a whole other person gone! I hoping to get down to about 235 from 270. When I got married I got down to 225 from 275, but 11 years and 4 kids (and wife's pregnancy feedings) later I managed to put them on again. I starting walking every crack of dawn 2 weeks ago and they're starting to come off again.

Yes, walking puts a diet into overdrive. i did it too once upon a time but I've lost my walking/balancing skills for now. I can walk short distances with a cane but that's about it. Looking forward to improvements in that area too.

Thanks for the encouragement Mistress and Mr. Doe!
