I remember that. They were the environmental wackos of their day, at least on this subject. I don't remember what they had against flouride though. Late 60's or early 70's, I think.

It's available in Ct. I buy it occasionally because I like the the cream on the top. Drank it for about 20 yrs when I got it from Cornwall Bridge, Ct. Interestingly I saw one of the glass milk bottles (called 'Local Farm') on Martha Stewart's program.
Quite a few years ago Dr Oster, Chief of cardiology at Park City Hospital Bridgeport and Dr Ross, Chairman of the Dept of Biology at Fairfield University developed the hypothesis that the process of homogenization of cow's milk makes possible the release of the milk-borne enzyme xanthine oxidase (XO) that triggers the atherosclerotic leson.
From the book 'The XO Factor': "Although some XO remains in pasteurized, nonhomogenized milk, (where it is found in association with the exterior of the milk fat globule membrane) the chances that the enzyme will be taken up from the gut are decreased, since large fat globules are less likely to pass with XO through the intestinal wall into circulation."

That toothpaste was intended for sale in extreme cold climates. The antifreeze was in there to make sure the toothpaste doesn't solidify in the extreme cold.
Apparently they were getting sued by people who would bite a piece of frozen toothpaste off, and would chip a tooth or two.

Its easy to find in India but even in upstate NY, its very difficult, farmers are hesitant to give out raw milk.

Raw milk has no disease, in that case my entire family should be wiped out. I belong to an underground network of folks making Kefir and majority of them are on raw milk.

Raw milk has no disease just as a blood agar plate has no disease.

Can't cultivate Kefir in blood agar, blood agar has different purpose.

Certainly, we are culturing Kefir here, not strep unless you think Kefir is strep.
