my dad calls 'em

Maypops

I saw a hooptie around here recently where they had 2 on the car, at opposite corners!!!

One of the worst thing that auto manufacturers did, in my opinion.

Many drivers are complete idiots when it comes to the proper care and feeding of the car they drive.

Expecting them to understand that when you replace a flat tire with a wheel of considerably smaller diameter and tread width that the car will not/cannot perform in the same manner as before the flat is just stupid.

Even posting a BIG YELLOW STICKER that tells them not to exceed 50mph, etc, doesn't do any good. I get passed on the freeway all the time by people with maypops in place, and I don't drive slow.

Scary...

I've seen those on cars when I KNOW they had been on the car for weeks or months. Some people are just morons.

I had a dumba$$ neighbor who ran around with his doughnut on the drive wheel of his '03 corolla for a few months until the nylon cord was showing, then what does this genious do you night ask. . . .goes out and replaces the doughnut with a new doughnut on the spare rim. . .all the while the full size steel rim was sitting in the trunk. . . he explained there was too much stuff in the trunk to bother with unloading to get to the full size wheel. . . . talk about lazy. . .

I actually saw a Taurus running around on all 4 donuts...I can't imagine what that thing drove like. When's the last time you had a flat? I last had a real, change it on the side of the road flat tire last summer, ran over something. I think it had been probably 20 years since my last one.

They're Man's way of replacing God...He's suppose to eliminate the stupid ones...now the auto manufacturers are giving the idiots ways to kill themselves (and unfortunately some of us!) because they're too stupid to fix the original tire...

I say that the cops should slap a BIG Purple/Lime Green sticker on every windshield of any 5hitbox that has any donut on 'em. The next time he sees the sticker and the tire is still on the SB, the officer gets to shoot a "warning shot" into the tire, then one into the driver...

Most sensible folks put the donut on, drive to the tire place and replace the faulty tire...what's wrong with people?

Too poor to fix a tire? Then you probably don't have insurance and you shouldn't be out on the road in the first place...

Another good reason for the officer to put a "warning shot" into the driver!
