Fair enough. So what about people whom we KNOW are defective? Should we sterilize them so they don't breed other people who are equally defective? IIRC the Third Reich had a program to do that.

When I go to a casino, I write off the money I bring. IOW, before I go, I ask myself "What can I afford to lose today". Win, lose or draw, that is all.

Incest does not automatically result in birth defects/retardation/death/mutation/etc. Incest is much more common in nature than you want to believe. Cheetahs, for example, inbreed often. Purebred dogs are another good example of common inbreeding.

Humans ARE animals, apes specifically.

Incest has been seen in Chimpanzee colonies too.

It's a legit question and the answer has all kinds of interesting problems. For example, I think we share the same ancestors of every other life form on Earth. If there really was no special creation then all of our choices are, by definition, natural. Right?
