"Dark Knight" too cheesy to be good.

To be honest, I went to see the new Batman movie "Dark Knight" with absolutely no expectations. Yes, I read the reviews and quite a few people liked the movie. I didn't, neither did my wife.

I thought the first quarter of the movie was pretty good, but it quickly degenerated into a mindless bore. The guy with the "half burned off face" was cheesy to the point of being laughable. And what's up with Batman's voice? He talks in this gruff growling kind of aggressive way that made him seem like a pervert. Cheesy, very cheesy. There was also a part where the Joker was kicking Batman's a$$, c'mon? Some tough guy huh? The little ******* Joker beating Batman up? It was just for a long drawn out fight scene. Not even to be imagined... still more cheese.

I don't know why this movie got such good reviews. It was not good, and a waste of an afternoon!

The guy with the half-burned off face is another one of the Batman arch rivals. They're supposed to be cheesy. That's what Batman is all about.

I rather liked it. It was interesting.

Although, toward the end, it was getting to be a bit long, and drawn out, with me sitting there thinking to myself, its over, only for the movie to not be over.

Yeah, I kept thinking it was over and then something else would happen. I could have done with a little less.

I thought it was the best movie I've seen in a long time. Batman should get his ass kicked once in a while. Why not? Invulnerable heroes are boring.

Heath Ledger definitely stole the show though, dont know what they'll do for the next one.

Same here....it was a great movie!

Batman is not supposed to be dead serious, it began as a comic!

The joker was one of the most creepy and believable performance I have seem in a long time. Absolutely stunning.

Batman's voice is like that on purpose....his suit has a sound distortion thing in it to disguise his voice and make it sound imposing.

Its an awesome movie....anyone not agreeing is wrong.

Yeah....not an attractive person for the love interest....I agree, however, anything is better than Katie Holmes....the Worst. Actor. Ever.

I wonder if Batman found it difficult to beat up his arch enemy mother and sister?

I heard they were pretty sinister enemies of GOTHAM CITY.

The late Heath Ledger was an absolute performer being the Joker, that I'll have to say. Down to the little details like when he licks his lips, to the laughter he makes that gives him the Joker trademark - was just spot on.

There was a part where Joker explained why Batman could not kick Joker's a*s, I won't spoil it for you but it's near the end.

As far as comic book movies go, this one was my favorite. You put dark night next to movies like spiderman 2 and three (i liked the first one), the incredible hulk, ect ect it looks even better.
