There's no way for me to know how you feel but I know how I felt.
It's never easy but being able to share final moments is comforting and it is definitely a relief that the suffering is done.
Don't cry because she's gone, smile because you got to enjoy her while she was here.

Dee8go, I truly understand your pain, loss, and confusion, for I went through the exact same loss of my mom due to cancer in March. My heart goes to you and yours. Just know that - although it's been said many times - the passing of time will be the cure for your pain. Take care.

Tom, my prayers are with you and your family.

I know its hard losing someone, but remember the good times.

Always remember you have the support of many from far and close. If you need to vent, I am sure more than enough people here would be more than happy to hear you out.

Dee8go. I also lost my mother to cancer. This was many years ago now but I still remember the pain. My condolences to you too.

So sorry to hear about your loss, Dee8go ... but glad you were able to be there with her until the end. I lost my grandmother earlier this year, and it gave me some peace knowing that she went while at home, which she desperately wanted, and with my aunt and uncle by her side after she had spent the whole day surrounded by various loved ones.

So many thoughts and prayers are with you and yours . . .

I know three years later I still think so lovingly of my Dad and am so very glad I was with him at the time of his passing. In time, the blessed memories balance the feeling of loss.

Deepest prayers,
Steve
