I got the same e-mail yesterday...snopes.com verifies the story as accurate.

That's absolutely true.

We've discussed it on here before when Edwards admitted his own infidelity.

Since it happened 30 years ago, certain members simply dismissed it.

John McCain............a man with no integrity and no loyalty. I suppose the part about "for better or for worse, for richer or for poorer, in sickness or in health" escaped John McCain.

This man has such a profound respect for women that he recently called his own wife a c____ in front of several staffers.

.........you want to attack the integrity of a military officer..........without any solid proof that he left his first wife for reasons other than "incompatibility"...........???

Anyone with one shred of intelligence can read between the lines...........but, the vast population of geniuses out there may not.

How he chose to manage his personal relationships should have no bearing on how effective he would be in office...just ask ole Bill...

For anyone in the military that would be career suicide. Outside the military it sure would show lack of tact. Oh, I think you made a mistake 30 years ago so you're still a bad person... Seriously...now if he has pulled something like John Edwards recently, that's a different story. Then again, I'm not a perfect person so I'm not going to try and pass judgment on his personal life.

It doesn't really matter what McCain does or has done, Republicans are like Zombies, brainwashed into voting for the Republican Candidate no matter what they've done. McCain can do just about anything he wants without fear of losing his loyal supporters.

I'd like to know how many military service members (such as myself) are going to vote for Obama (which I will not do). I have problems with a commander in chief with no military background, what 134 days of government service, and had made plans to pull out of Iraq without having been there himself to see the progress for his own eyes. I'm concerned about working for an armchair quarterback who won't get his hands dirty.

A very good point. It likley encourages some. How does the approach positively influence most swing voters?

Why is it necessary to have a president with a military background? The USA does waaaay too much with its Military already, it needs to be scaled way back in my opinion. We're like the annoying neighbor that always has to meddle in other people's business, or the bully that always has to start something to get what we want.

I kinda agree with that.

Let's build Fortress America. Fortify our country and let the rest of the world fend off for itself.

If another country iss invaded, or threatened, by an international bully we can simply look the other way. It is none of our business what happens in someone else's backyard. Who cares about the rest of the world as long as we are safe and comfy within our walls.

Sounds very enticing.

Among the many benefits of the Forthress America Doctrine, is that our school children won't have to be bothered learning world history or world geography.

Let's do it...

Have you ever had a boss that wasn't hired from within, with no knowledge of how the company works? I have, and it sucks.

I look at is as being the senior on the school bus when there are middle schoolers riding as well. Some punk-ass sophomore starts picking on the younger kids because he's no longer a freshman and thinks he's got some kind of power. Usually it only takes the bigger guy to stand up and tell them to sit down, shut up and leave them alone. Some times it takes us getting off at their stop and exacting a little "pain compliance" that they thought was so funny to dish out to the (more or less) defenseless kids. Sometimes they ask for help, some times they don't know or are too proud too. It's a judgement call that you have to make.

Maybe some people have no problem sitting on the sidelines watching people get robbed/raped/tortured/killed, but I was raised differently. If I see something bad happening that's wrong I'll do what I can to stop it. I won't unnecessarily put myself in harms way, but I'll call the police if that's all it takes.

Who are we going to call...the UN?
