There was one in Wichita where I got to drive a SLR for half a day.

Thanks, but my car is nothing compared to some California members: Turbobenz and Mbeige have really nice cars.

I refinished the bundts myself... I have mixed feelings about not having them anymore.

Pentas have their pros and cons. I would trade straight across for 15" bundts.

I recognize that coupe....its the one with the Hemi badge on the back isn't it

I'm going to step up to the plate and start the planning for the New England area. The hardest part is finding the right location to have the meet....I'm thinking central CT area so we can get people from NY, NJ, CT, MA and maybe even VT and NH.

I've been pondering this for a while and one of the places that I thought about was Elizabeth park in West Hartford. There is a strip of parking spots right next to the grassy areas across from the restaurant which I could have reserved for Mercedes only....I may also have an idea on how to provide free food..

(Park regulations say no alcohol, hope that isn't a problem...............Hatterasguy )

Nothing definite, just throwing the idea out there until someone can come up with a better one.

Drinking regulations have never stopped us before, we just use plastic cups.

Besides I don't have a MB anymore I probably won't be going...unless I can borrow one.

I've found a few nice sized regional parks here in Houston that would be ideal for holding the meet for the folks down in our region. There would still be the issue of food, and knowing how many attendees to expect.

Just posted a GTG in the KC area. Might as well be a 10th anniversary celebration.

One of the attendees may be from Connecticut; he's stepping up to the plate on the Defiant, hopefully.

I've gone ahead and scheduled the annual meet I hold for the Texas MB owners. It's going to be on June 27th. I know we discussed having a 10th anniversary meet in late May in the Houston area, but I don't know how it would effect attendance to have two regional events in Southeastern Texas just a month after the other. So, we can call the Texas meet an unofficial 10th anniversary meet.

I know they chose peachparts because they're based in Georgia and all, but why not follow the Atlanta tradition of calling everything Peachtree and calling this PeachtreeParts? Sounds less pansy than "peachparts."

Has anyone called the new peachparts yet asking if peach parts such as pits were available for purchase?
