Keeping the pint, would have raised the cost to about $4.57/pint.

Big deal...the stoners never would have noticed, and the ice cream snobs are the same people paying $4/latte - they couldn't care less about a <15% price increase.
These products go through rounds and rounds of consumer testing before they're on the market. I mean, look, either increase prices or decrease costs. They had to do one or the other. They probably took the lesser of two evils.

Don't get me started on Beer.

12 pack of Pabst was $4.00 a year ago. last time i bought a 12 pack it was "on sale" for $7.50 regular price $8.99

what happened to 4.00?

what really gets me is High Life was always $7.50 for a 12 pack. and when I went to get my Pabst, High Life was on sale for $6.50 regular price $7.50.

Then how about this fact, Pabst is only a marketing firm, and the beer int he can is supplied my Miller!!!!!!!

SO don't tell me the cost of the pure all natural ingredients went up.

Some how when I wasn't looking Pabst became more expencive then High Life.

I haven't bought beer in a while. it just makes me mad.

Those 8 packs that Pepsi has been selling bother me tremendously. Today I saw an 18 pack of theirs. Priced too high, even if it were a 24 pack. A few days ago, I saw 4 packs at a walmart for $1 - (that, is almost a reasonable price)
Pepsi must think that nobody can do math anymore.

And if Coke gets rid of the 12 pack, I won't buy their product anymore either.

Clearly, you've been in a cave.

My favorite ice cream.........Edy's Grand..........went from the proper 64 oz. half gallon container...........down to 56 oz...........but, NOPE.......that wasn't a sufficient drop for them.............now down to 48 oz...........welcome to the NEW 1/2 gallon.

The retail price is the same, however............$5.99.

I never buy it unless it's 2:1..........my waistline thanks me..........
