35% seems about right, at least for around here. Most of the collectors I talk to at gun shows are just that: Collectors. There are fewer retailers and their booths are pretty darned obvious. From what I have seen, retailers' prices at gun shows are not a lot different from store front retailers. Many (I'd guess most) retailers are storefront first and other venues second. That's definitely a guess. Frankly, I don't really give a damn. I like going to shows to look at and admire fine weapons. There was a double H&H in .416 that I'd love to have. That is an all business piece. Also an old Thompson from the '30's. The stock was abused, the bluing was worn and a few scratches on the receiver. The owner said it had been carried in the Pacific theater in WWII. I'd love to have it but I'd need a dang permit. Oh well.
