The Smoke Silver '90 was bought new in Newport Beach at Jim Slemons MB (now Fletcher Jones) and she died some years after that and her estate found it in the garage with 35k on it in 2002.

A woman in Malibu picked it up and kept it till this spring. Decided she wanted a new Mini Cooper, and I found it via another member (HHERIC who also has a smoke silver coupe with 58k on it, and sent me the CL ad the Jaguar dealer in Ventura put up; The dealer sold it PRIVATELY, so it came with all books and records, tools, first aid kit, jack, everything. Always females owned it.

This was the day I bought it, April 8 '09.





It neded minor cleaning but had always been lifetime garaged, when I got it in April, only 89k on it. It is beautiful now, and after driving it a month or so realized the folly of a single guy owning a matched pair of them.

So I sold it to my (marriage minded) girlfriend for the 6800 I paid.

Told her it came with a money back guarantee, I will buy it back for the same price if she decides she doesn't like it. So far she does, but complains the doors are too big and heavy.

I will give you guys first crack at it, though, if it goes up for sale.
