Another Idiot Czar That Has To Go
Cass Sunstein: First Amendment revisionist and animal rights zealot "Specifically he thinks that, “we ought to ban hunting.”[15] He also thinks that “we could even grant animals a right to bring suit”[16] and that it is possible that “that before long, Congress will grant standing to animals to protect their own rights and interests.”[17] " and pro tax extremist: "In what sense is the money in our pockets and bank accounts fully ‘ours’? Did we earn it by our own autonomous efforts? Could we have inherited it without the assistance of probate courts? Do we save it without the support of bank regulators? Could we spend it if there were no public officials to coordinate the efforts and pool the resources of the community in which we live?... Without taxes there would be no liberty. Without taxes there would be no property. Without taxes, few of us would have any assets worth defending. [It is] a dim fiction that some people enjoy and exercise their rights without placing any burden whatsoever on the public fisc. … There is no liberty without dependency.[19]"
None of the czars are vetted by congress: why? |

I can think of no reason, except that there is no law permitting such a vetting process. You think that might have something to do with it?
Apparently this czar thing is the next non-issue that will need to be exposed as empty, just like death panels and school children indoctrination. Did you have similar objections to Bush's czars? |

The same, tired-ass rhetoric over & over again; "Bush". Not relevant, what is going on now is going on now; what happened in a previous administration, right or wrong has no bearing on the present. ohhh I think it does totally. I never ever heard a single word uttered from the right about anything W. did while in office any of his policies or anyone he pardoned or appointed but now its a doomsday event if the president wants to tell kids to stay in school....you cannot tell me you disagree with everything Obama does to such a degree. Ohh and previous administrations policies very much impact, a wild guess lets say the economy which the current administration will inherit.

You mean the previous CONGRESS. After all, who really writes the budget? AFAIK, the Prez submits a wish list and Congress does with it as it pleases. Most of the Congress is still intact so they are having to deal with their mess.

That seems to be your response to anarchy. More govt. Yes, obviously we need SOME govt to stop anarchy. Just not so much that everything is governed by some bureaucracy. We shouldn't need someone meddling in every facet of our lives. Yes, some govt is needed. Much like some chemotherapy is needed for a cancer patient. However, like chemo, govt should be in minimum doses.

I was amazed at the blatant racism of it all here in Houston. The white suburban school districts censored our black president from telling kids to work harder in school, while the inner city schools did not. Ignorance and prejudice, on display in a way I have not seen since the 1960's. There is an ugly, ugly racist undercurrent to a lot of this, especially the Birther crap. Why am I not surprised they went after another black guy in Obama's government with a bunch of trumped up baloney ? Nice lynch job there, Beckie. Careful of the cup of hate you are pouring their righties, you just might drown in it. |
