I met a car collector on the plane back from Florida last Sunday. When he told me he collected cars, I assumed he had 3-4 old cars. It turns out that he actually has about 65 cars and maintains a 15,000 sq ft "garage" which is climate-controlled, has lab grade air filtration, white epoxy coated floors, and employs two full time mechanics to take care of this collection.

I was astounded. I've never met anyone like him before. I'm looking forward to a tour of his "garage." By the end of the conversation he was asking me to come and see him about his accounts receiveable. I told him I'm in the collections business. I may start taking more trips if this works out as well as it seems to be!

Let me add that this guy looked like an ordinary Joe and was not the least bit haughty or snobbish. It's a real treat to meet someone like this.
