AFAIK, NONE of the models they use for predictions work when used to look at the past. It your model doesn't reproduce what we know happened, how can you rely on it to accurately forecast the future?

I agree with some of what you say as far as putting stuff into the atmosphere. I just believe there is more to it than that. When they ignore solar data, they demonstrate that they are more polemic than science. IOW, the "scientists" are more interesting in proving a point than in scientific truth.
Man has SOME impact.
Man's impact is not the only, or even a major cause.

Most GW people I have heard, honestly admit that if all their restrictions were immediately put into place, would have a measurable effect.
Yes, but we will never have perfect science on any issue.
It is impossible.

If we wait to act on anyting untill we have perfect science then we
would never act on anyting.

And yes, there are other factors that influence climate.
One of the largest influences is solar activity.

Do you know we have been in a solar activity minimum.
We have not seen this few solar spots or winds in the last 100 years.

Now we are seeing a rapid increase in solar activity, just in the last few weeks.

The solar maximum is theorized to hit around the middle of 2012.

This will be the first time in the planets history that this much carbon is in the air during a solar peak.

Nobody knows what will happen, nobody.

Maybe nothing, maybe a lot.

Do we continue speeding down this busy street telling ourselves that we dont know that an accident will hurt us, because we have never been in one.

I would at least like to have a seat belt on.

OTOH, do we spend trillions of $$$$ on stuff that may not have any effect?

No. I'm not.
Its absurd of you to even suggest such a thing.

Do you want to continue polluiting the planet ?

Would you like your children to live in as clean and healthy environment as you were given ?

Do you see that global climate change denial is a thinly veiled argument for continuing to burn more and more fossil fuels ?

Either you are for or aginst polluting the planet.

Its just that simple.
