Northeastern would be my pick, I have friends and relatives who have gone on the very top of the corporate world after completing their degrees there.

Okay, it's coming down to it. I already sent in my deposit to Stevens, but just got accepted to RPI off the wait-list and I'm hammering out a scholarship right now. They already offered me 7K. That makes it a 5K difference, but we'll see what I can squeeze out of them. So, the largest differences are that RPI has a better reputation and is bigger, but the location is not nearly as prime, although I'd probably more easily be able to continue my car frenzy. Stevens, less well known, more locals (60% in-state vs. 40% for RPI), but it's in an awesome location. Anyone have any thoughts on the matter?

Yes. Troy, NY, is a pit. If you don't like living in such a place, think otherwise.
(apologies to any listers who live in Troy...) Rgds, Chris W. |
