Do realize that I know of techs that make it their mission in life to report you if you modify it in any way. Say a downpipe, chip or something like that. I have been denied by GM and I know the Ford people that will try to void your warranty if you do anything like snowplowing or excessive towing. For $4100,
the waranty is as long as he is in business. No denial reasons. He fixed a trans for someone 6 times in the last 8 years. Reason for breaking? Racing and pulling.
