Sestak frenzy

Not since Monica Lewinsky and Paula Jones have Rr talkers been so excited.

What a bunch of hooey. The Demo party takes a good look and concludes that Sestak is not yet ready for the big leagues. And that the guy he wants to unseat only has one more term left in him, so Sestak will get his chance soon enough anyway. They go to him and say, essentially, wait a while killer, we need to get you a little more up to speed, develop a little polish, we'll put you on this advisory board so you can get a little more hands on experience, a little bit of face time in the big leagues.

Hannity is about to wet himself he's so excited. Comparing it to Blagojevich. Not even in the same hemisphere. Blagojevich was trying to enrich himself and enhance his career by selling a Senate seat. Obama and Clinton were trying to mold the team for a winning season.

I can understand Hannity is looking for a bright shiny distraction, what with the 'Drill Baby, Drill' mantra of his great hope, Palin in tatters and people in Louisiana asking hard questions about 8 years of Republican dismantling of oil industry oversight.

Sestak has weenie rubber stamped in red on his forehead. Should have stayed in the House cause I don't think his chances in the Senate are that good.

Not saying it goes all the way to the Pres. But it is hard to believe the Rom, or any one else would take, on their own authority, such an offer.

Sestak is NOT the only one who this White House has made such an offer regarding.

Lets wait and see where the evidence leads.
The truth is simple; its fabrication that is complex and time-consuming.

This comes from DEMOCRATS; not Rrs. Sestak was not maiking partisan rhetoric when he admitted to being offered a position. It even laid quietly for a few months before the recent noise about it.

Bribery my ass. The D hierarchy decided that Sestak was not ready and offered him a spot that could increase his readiness, over time, and would salve his ego at the thought of having to put his ambition on hold. Sestak was an idiot to bring it up and no doubt will regret it if he doesn't already. He thought he could show how strong and independent he was.

It's much ado about nothing. But it is certainly a legitimate thing in the Rr playback. Cover yourselves in glory, ya'all.

Sestak does nothing for me. I saw video of him thanking supporters after he won as a backdrop to some discussion on the telly and I kept thinking of Sally Fields saying, "you really do love me!!" Just embarrassing. Rrs are making a big deal out of this mostly in hopes of him losing the general, that along with directing a fire hose of slime on BHO.

Whether its "business as usual" is not the issue.
Again, as I have repeatedly posted, lets wait and see how it plays out. Wait for all the facts, then decide==no rush to judgment from this quarter.

So far I haven't read of any bribery going on except on Republican biased websites. The "drill baby" mantra has blown up in the face of Republicans so this is what they have next to take the public's eye away from the policy of NO in congress.

Your interpretation of this law is as open to debate as everything else in this is. What astounds me that in the midst of all the massive problems we face at this time, the Republicans think the important thing to do is for all of us to go off on another BJ Impeachment Adventure based on nebulous readings of the law by partisan hacks who would destroy the country, if necessary, in order to regain power. They offered the guy a job. BFD. Maybe instead of creating a new crisis, what the GOP should be doing is something, anything, to help this country to recover from eight years of Capitalism Gone Wild and two unfinished wars left to us, by them.

The problem was not Capitalism....nothing wrong with that. The problem was overriding greed, lying cheating, decieving and stealing.

They didn't even offer him a job. It was basically an apprenticeship position, good for gaining political seasoning. Strikes me as entirely within the purview of a political party. They were basically advising Sestak to stay in the minor leagues for a while longer. Sestak was too big of a blowhard moron to take their advice.

I'm more than happy to let the facts come out. In the meantime I have no problem observing what a bunch of naked opportunists the Rr talkers involved here are, led by cast iron jut jawed Hannity.

So, in your world, whether a thing is right or wrong, ( or legal or illegal) is based on what else of import is going on at that time. Hmmm-- so Nixon should have said, " I got this Viet Nam war that i inherited from the previous administrations, and ending it is more important than some third-rate burglary.

That is an interesting take on morality.

Again, I stress, lets wait and see what facts come out, and then decide.
