125 grand for a 190E!!!!

not sure if a repost, but check out this car,

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1990-New-Mercedes-Benz-190-E-2-5-16-Evolution-II-/160483660879?pt=US_Cars_Trucks&hash=item255d92544f

Not sure if its worth 125k, but its definately a nice looking vehicle.

502 built, homolgation special so that it would qualify for the German DTM series. Even with the low mileage, it is priced above the market . . . but as the saying goes, you only need one willing buyer.

So if I read that add correctly, its date of first use was sometime within the past few months, therefore the vehicle actually has a legit 3 year mercedes comprehensive warranty on it? So even if the seals are dried out, it doesn't matter, bring it in to the dealer and get the leaks/cracked rubber replaced free of charge! I'd love to be the service writer who got that car as a customer..... big $$

Well that's not the kind of car you drive, it will go to another garage like Jay Leno's and sit next to other cool Mercedes. Very cool car probably one of the best examples outside of the MB museum.

I'd say its worth all of $50k, if not a bit more. But you only need one buyer who has to have it. Looks like something Garage Current in Japan would sell.

I think this Evolution II was part of the recent "barn" find where there was also a couple vintage BMW E30 M3 and Ford Cosworth tucked away.

Best Barn Find Ever

Looks like a ricer. That rear wing would be the envy of every fart-canned Civic on the street!

Not that I wouldn't drive it, mind you.

The rear spoiler is actually functional so its all good. Plus its an EVO, so awesome.

I'd love to have that car in my stable.

Awww junk, I just noticed that! Could use that as a negotiation tactic!
"But sir, you must notice the obvious damage caused to the aluminum heat shield! We both know that part is NLA, so I would like a $10,000 discount for the required repair work and de-valuation!"
