I suppose yelling out loud during a public hearing that "you white people are racists," qualifies Price as a racist. Given there were no racial slurs used toward him in the meeting before he (Price) spouted that out.

Price's last incident involved a physical attack in a government building hallway of someone he had a political axe to grind. Many believe Price is nothing but a thug when you peel off the government title he carries.

Before that, he maliciously damaged the windshield wiper arms of a minivan by hanging on the front of it, then threatening it's driver during the NE Dallas Police Substation Precinct's public traffic blocking stunts he pulled during rush hours.

He needs to be removed from his government paid position, and hone his skills elsewhere IMO. Hopefully, his hate speech race baiting diatribe deal will get the job done. His behavior warrants it IMHO.

I once complained about a Republican on this board. I was quickly told that I did not know what i was talking about because the person I commented on kept getting elected in election after election.

I was asked if I thought I knew more about the issues in their district than the voters did and then I was told that since I was not one of the people voting for him that I had no valid opinion on the matter.

So with all of that in mind.....

Does anyone here live in Price's district? And if you do then since he was elected by a majority of the voters then don't you think you are in the wrong if you voted against him?

Price took office in 1985 and has been re-elected ever since. When he took office investment in his district was about $50,000 a year. Last year it was $115,000,000.

I only mentioned this since Republicans tend to equate money success with being in the right all the time. As in, "Rush must be right. Look at how much money he makes!"

The issue of his effectivity in bringing home the bacon is not the issue. The issue is/was the racist statements he uttered. Teddy Kennedy was an effective senator for MA: this did not change the fact that he was a drunken killer.

Not a good situation but back then drunk driving was not viewed the same as it is now.

The bridge he ran off was a humpback bridge with no side rails and the approach to it was at an angle. It would have been easy enough to run off even when sober, especailly in the dark.

Bridges like that hardly exist any more because they are so unsafe.

Today, Price has escalated his racist comments into terrorism comments as well.

Effectively threatening a reporter on audio trying to learn why Price claimed the word mullah was a racist word. Price insisted the word mullah was racist. When challenged how the word mullah was racist, Price used terrorism in backing down the reporter, by asking what if the white citizen had actually uttered the word; N*****. Price is out of order and out of control.
