and, just because someone says, "Oh, the Scientology place" doesn't necessarily make it so. It may mean that a mere employee that works at the clinic is a Scientologist, or, it may mean that the owners are Scientologist. It would require more investigation before jumping to a conclusion.

Nope, at least not in this case. Google I20 animal hospital. The EEOC had a case filed and they settled for $150k with 6 employees.

I20 v EEOC

Not sure about this one but it does seem to be well referenced.

Break down

My wife paid a $12,000 vet bill!

Her horse had a bad case of colic which is very serious in horses. We rushed him up to the University of of Pennsylvania horse hospital in New Bolton, PA. He had surgery there and is now doing very well almost 3 years later.

Just curious, but how much does a new horse cost?

How much does a new car cost? Same thing. It depends on lots of factors. With the economy these days you can sometimes find a healthy, decent saddle horse for free. I've both bought and sold horses for as little as 500 bucks to over 20K dollars, and there are many that are worth much more than that.

Lots of horse people become as bonded to their animals as dog owners do, and will pay medical bills that have no relationship to the market value of the animal. Sorta like old benz owners

I think the better question is this. What would you pay for your child. In the case of my cars, I can dump them when they cost too much.
