wow, how many leg burns was that good for??????

Looks like OH may require a few mods to make that bike street-legal. Probably best to visit the folks at the DMV.

I have a CT70, same color in the shed here. Its all original, exhaust is rusted out & a couple of other problems. Top speed is 45mph. It gets over 100miles on a gallon. Great little toy for getting around on.

I have to admit I'm more into the self propelled two wheelers but if I ever had the cash and the chance I'd love one of these:-

I bought a couple of Puch mopeds some years ago for about $100 each. They had about 50 miles on them. Will do about 30mph on the flat at this elevation. No registration, no license seems to be a good way to go.

The registration requirement varies by state. Here in IL, even the 49cc mopeds like yours require registration and insurance!

I remember the suzuki bikes being real trail burners back in the day ,the smell of that oil mixed fuel still brings up those memories of youth .My brother had built an old Penton british dirt bike.It was of a different sound from all the other bikes when out on the trail and was good on dirt turns with real grab for corners .I kept an ex can of fuel ready for top off when I had to do a fun run.A guy here locally rebuilds old dirt bikes and such ,he makes a descent retirement out of it.

The 360 was the last of the best, they went down hill from there, the 400 was only just a bike.
There was a 500 single 2 stroke, you could put the light coil from the 360 in it & road register it over here. They went like a rocket. I used one in some desert racing when I was in my late teens. Retired to a RM400 Suzzie after that. Prior to all that I had a Bultaco Matador, six day trials bike, they were built like a Spanish bull, it was a bit like Army's favorite,

I brought this 1972 Monark-Crescent home last week. With 50cc Sachs engine and 2-speed manual gearbox at the handlebar it sure is a geeky machine and I love it already. Rough ride on the gravel roads around here though, front "suspension" doesn't seem to work anymore and rear suspension consists of what you may or may not have accumulated on your personal rear end over the years.

I have noticed that those old MX bikes seem to bring a good bit of money when they are sold nowadays. I would like to come up on a pristine Yamaha 250 or 350 cc two stroke, two cylinder street bike from the early 70's.
