Ya right. Didn't that one fat guy say he would leave the country if Obama got elected? Rush was his name. These guys always make statements like this for ratings. Like everything else they spew out, its hot air.

Last I checked, they're still here. Unlike someone you aren't in favor being your president, raised taxes is a legitimate reason to leave the country; members at the country club I worked for were leaving already, to places like New Zealand and Australia just to prevent their estates from being touched before their kids can even get to it. If I were affluent enough to leave, I would too. My father's estate is a double-edged sword, where if I liquidate it to cash, there's a 50% tax on estates now in CT. Not sure if that applies elsewhere. If I leave it all in the stock market, I risk major losses. There's just no winning in this economy that Obama 'inherited'

If Alec Baldwin possessed even half of a testicle he would of been part of the Emmy awards a told his hacking scandal joke anways! But he's a liberal and testicles are only allowed on the women like Rosie! You heard the joke: If Bush's Brain = Karl Rove; because he doesn't have one of his own, then Obama's Testicles = Valerie Jarrett; because he doesn't have any of his own! |

"Then, on Sept. 18, the New York Daily News ran an interview from German magazine Focus in which Kim Basinger announced that her husband, Alec Baldwin, "might leave the country if Bush is elected president," adding, "and then I'd probably have to go too." (She has since filed for divorce.) But scare tactics can backfire. On Sept. 19, the Daily News ran the following Baldwin retraction: "I never said I'd leave the country, and my wife never heard of Focus magazine and never talked to them." Then, on Sept. 20, the Daily News ran the following retraction of the retraction. "Kim did indeed speak to a Focus magazine," he told the paper. "But my wife and I never said unequivocally that we would leave the country if Bush won. Never." I take it back - Salon.com |

He was asked "where he would get his health care if Obamacare passed" and he responded and I'm paraphrasing "in the event that Obama care passed and in the subsequent 5 years following the implimentation of it came to the result expected that he would go to Costa Rica (where he would get his health care). In the conversations preceding that small exchange there was a discussion about doctors setting up clinics in Costa Rica which had more favorable conditions and where "Medical Tourists" where the intended customer base. It's really pretty funny because what Media Matters and the rest of the liberal media empire did in that case is exactly what they always accuse Fox and the right talkers of doing - taking an utterance completely out of context and reframing it so as to make it appear something was stated when in fact it never was. The actual exchange can be heard and viewed at Media Matters, the Huff Po etc. |
