Looks like the extreme ends of the political spectrum got a smack down. BHO and the far right both should listen up and move to the center before either one of them take the country down.

I'm prolife and I voted against 26 on Tuesday... it was too vague when it came to birth control... ie most would be illegal under this law

Not since Evan "Pickaninny" Mecham embarrassed us as Governor has there been a more entertaining and ultimately satisfying political drama in this state. Pearce was a spiteful bigot. Good riddance.

Another example of " The cover up is ALWAYS worse than the original crime." You'd think we would have learned that by now.
Last night, the Board of Trustees did the only thing they could--they fired Joe P and the University President.
The irony is, of course, that that trying to protect the reputation will ultimately destroy that reputation--or, rather, substitute a different reputation in place of the one desired.

I found it some what odd and disheartening that you made no mention of the victims (the kids who were molested). The cover up is bad for the guilty and delays punishment for them. But it also extends the pain and suffering for the victims. I am sure you did not intend that as it does not seem like you personality.

Watching the coverage on TV seemed to follow the same pattern. The victims seemed to be lost in the popularity of the person who allowed it to happen. I guess more than one groups has learned how to act like the Vatican.

Hopefully in this ungovernable state of California (2/3 Budget vote). We are going to a top two vote. Let’s say in a Republican district the top two are Republicans then in the general Democrats vote for the centrist. Vice Versa Democratic districts. Wish us luck.
