So, I just got my Bertone back after my neighbor back into it. It was a nice day, I was driving down by a school where their was a ball game in a school. I slowed down to the required school zone of 20 mph. I had this honda civic roar up behind me and start honking and the driver was fliping me off. I ignored it. This went on for several blocks until I came upon the left turn lane to get off on the road I was going to. Then the honking re-sumed and the passenger got out and punched the hood of the car. I called the police with their plate number and they said they will look into it. I may not get blood out of a turn up. So, If I'm stuck out of pocket with good driving record, should I turned this creased hood into them for comprehensive, or just pay out of my own pocket, really don't wan't to as the hood could cost $500 alone, and that is not including paint work. However, I don't want this to be a temporary loan from the insurance company. I have never made a claim before, so any advice would be welcome.
