Wow...what the heck is it based on? They just stretched the existing G chassis I guess??

if they did a 2 door version without a ridiculously overall length it would be nicer.

In fact that is probably the nicest G wagon I've ever seen. It still looks familiar but they seem to have removed the homo-geek element somewhat!

My thoughts, exactly, SirNik! I'd still love to have one anyhow, though. If they'd make a two door version, that would definitely be schweet.

Wonder what the payload is? Definitely needs a diesel.

Cool but its to long, about as big as a crew cab with an 8ft bed. I also question the frame strength since I doubt that company has the R&D that Chevy and Ford do, and the experience building trucks. The motor is also a bit low on power and the 722.6 which I assume it has is kind of light duty. Your not going to be hauling 6 tons behind this thing.
Cool but I'll take a 3500HD, its a better pickup truck.

Worse yet, regardless of engine, it came out in the worst configuration ever put into a vehicle IMHO! These four door trucks are about the most ridiculous configuration ever to catch on as a fad, again IMHO.

I'm a fan of the crewcab. I grew up in a F350 crewcab diesel. My mom and dad wanted the truck becaue they bought some property they wanted to turn into a vineyard. My mom traded in her 85 Mercury Grand Marquis station wagon and her 78 FJ40 Landcruiser to get the truck. This was back in 1990 before it was cool to have a crewcab truck. My parents split in 1996 and my dad got the truck. The truck worked the property and hauled firewood for years. We'd fill it with scouts and go camping. It was an excellent vehicle for boy scout outtings. Today my dad still uses the truck in his walnut orchard. He drives his Lamborghini up into the bed and hauls it all over the place. The truck has really paid for its self over the years.
All that said. If you don't own an orchard/ranch/farm or live in the country and need to haul things like wood/dirt/equipment why daily drive a truck like that. I really don't understand the lifted trucks that require HUGE drop hitches just to haul a boat. Seriously bro, sorry about the small......... never mind.
